Destefano has created a beautiful world, one of the most beautiful I’ve read. The setting is a total female fantasy. I love the fact that Rhine has a twin but none of the books can stand alone it is obviously stretched into a series, because so far the story has only lead to clues of the big secrets in this novel, such things the author decided to reveal only in the final book.

Characters, Setting, Plot hands down I rate this series a 5/5 although it is not yet complete. Third and final book will come out in Fall 2013 (such a long wait).

Tris is one of the most courageous young heroines I’ve read about and I love the way this series is filled with ideals. The factions’ manifestos were just brilliantly written, the author has chosen the perfect words to embody her characters’ ruling principles of life. This book is also really feminist without being to assertive of the idea, I really like the way they let Tris fight not only with girls but also with big guys. I also am amazed by how story does not revolve to much on the protagonist but in everyone in their fictitious society. Four and Tris would have to be the most interesting pair I’ve ever read about, both strong-willed with their fair share of imperfections but both very loyal and honorable in their own way. I love the way the book has left me screaming and shouting at the pages wanting for more although the endings are not really hanging. This is the kind of series that makes my heart beat a much faster pace, makes it hard for my hands to put it down and my eyes to close when I need to go to sleep. I love the way each chapter leaves my jaw wide open in wonder as it reveals shock after every shock. I am madly in love with the ending of Insurgent.

Veronica Roth is just absolutely brilliant! Yes I am clearly fangirling over this series, well what can I say I am a sucker for the the coming of age novels set in the future specifically the ones telling the aftermath of a huge chaos that put America into a somewhat apocalypse, and 16 year old heroines. Well most of what I recently read  are in that format; The Hunger Games,The Chemical Garden Trilogy and The Divergent Trilogy. By the way, I took the faction quiz and I got Abnegation. :D
